Stokes Equipment Company is the largest distributor of Truck Dock Levelers and Seals/Shelters in the tri-state region comprised of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. As one of the top distributors for Rite Hite Corporation, Stokes deals with numerous regional companies as well as participating in a global network with other distributors. They are all capable of conducting business around the globe. Needless to say, a reliable data network is essential for fluid communications.
TeleQ Network Solutions reconfigured Stokes' network, transferring data from an existing, outdated server and condensing it for the new server. We also upgraded a dozen desktops and laptops with the latest version of Windows XP.
On The Go!
Stokes' dedicated sales team continuously pounds the pavement, so laptops are vital in keeping the mobile staff connected to the main office. TNS installed and trained the sales staff on the multi-functional remote access program, PC Anywhere. With remote access to the company network, data is streamlined, orders are processed immediately, and productivity increases!
Security
Leaving no stone unturned, TNS installed the latest firewall, anti-virus and anti-spam solutions so Stokes' employees, both in the office and on the road, can safely log onto the network. We provided VPN for remote access.
